Apple

Apple officially launched a special education pricing program for its latest smartwatch line starting May 7, 2026. This program includes discounts on the Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3 for eligible users in several countries.

With this new policy, Apple expands its education discount program, which previously only applied to Mac and iPad devices. Now, wearable devices like the Apple Watch are also included in the list of products receiving special pricing for academics.

The discount program is aimed at lecturers, staff of higher education institutions, current students, and prospective students who have been accepted to the relevant educational institution.

Apple Watch Gets Discounts of Up to 10 Percent

Apple stated that the discount amount varies depending on region and device model. However, eligible users can save up to 10 percent on select Apple Watch purchases.

Education customers will be required to verify their status through the Unidays service for online purchases and in-person purchases at an Apple Store. Most verification processes are instant, although in some cases, they can take up to 24 hours.

This new policy is an interesting move by Apple, as it marks the first time the company has begun to place a greater focus on the wearable segment within its education program.
